Plans, prices and billing

The plans

• Free trial: 7 days, 3 documents, up to 2 signers each and 10 different people in all. No card needed. One trial per email address.
• Lite (£3 or $3.50 a month): 5 documents a month, up to 5 signers each, access codes, confidential documents and one public link. Unused documents don’t carry over.
• Solo (£8.50 or $9.50 a month): unlimited documents (fair use), up to 10 signers each, plus fields that only show when needed and unlimited public links.
• Teams (£29 or $32.50 a month for 5 seats): everything in Solo, for a team with shared documents and templates. Extra seats from £6 or $6.75 each, getting cheaper as the team grows.

Monthly or yearly

Every paid plan can be billed monthly or yearly. A year costs the same as ten months, so two months are free. About two weeks before a yearly renewal we email you the amount and the date. On yearly Lite you still get your documents month by month.

Which currency you pay in

If you are in the UK, Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man you pay in pounds, with VAT included. Everyone else pays in US dollars, with any sales tax or VAT where you live added at checkout. This is decided by the country you check out from, not by the switch on the pricing page.

Choosing or changing a plan

• Open Account, Plan and billing, and choose a plan. Payment opens over the page, and your plan is active as soon as it goes through.
• On Lite, Upgrade to Solo moves you up at any time.
• Manage billing (asks for your password) opens your billing account, where you can update your card, see invoices, change plan or cancel.
• What you’re charged shows each charge, its next date and any scheduled change.

Payments are handled by Polar, which acts as the seller: it takes the payment, works out tax and sends your receipts. We never see your card details.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from Manage billing. Your plan carries on until the end of the period you have paid for, and is not renewed. Your documents stay; you can still open and download them. If you cancel a Teams plan, its extra seats end with it.

When a trial or plan ends

Starting and sending new documents is paused (the buttons show a padlock and take you to Plan and billing). Nothing is deleted: you can still open and download everything, and documents already sent can still be signed. Choose a plan to carry on.

If a payment fails

We email you once when it happens and once more five days later, and a notice in the app has an Update payment details button. New documents are paused until it is sorted, and nothing is deleted. As soon as the payment goes through, everything carries on.
