Free quote acceptance form (UK)
A quote only becomes a firm agreement when the customer accepts it. This starter form lets the customer sign to accept a quote, so you both have the price, what is supplied and the payment terms in one signed document.
Who signs
Supplier and Customer. Each signs on their own phone or computer from a link in an email, and neither needs an account.
What you fill in
- Supplier and customer names
- The quote reference
- What is being supplied
- The total price in pounds, and whether VAT is included
- How long the quote is valid
- Payment terms
What it covers
- Acceptance
- Changes
- Your rights
- General terms
When to use it
- After you send a quote, to get a clear yes in writing
- For jobs where the price and scope are settled and you want a signed record
When it’s not the right form
- Jobs where the price or scope is still being negotiated
- Contracts that need a fuller set of terms, which a solicitor can prepare
How to get it signed
- Choose this template in Docket Secure. The wording and fields are laid out for you.
- Add the real email address for each person who signs, and fill in the details above.
- Send it. Each person signs from their link and everyone receives the signed PDF.
Every signed PDF ends with an activity trail page, and you can check later that the file has not changed with the document checker. New accounts get a 7-day free trial with no card needed.
These are general starting points, not legal advice, and Docket Secure can’t check that a form suits your situation. For anything important or unusual, ask a solicitor. For the rules on signing online, see are electronic signatures legal in the UK.
